BUYER TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

Welcome to Green Cane Global Exports. By placing an order with us, the buyer agrees to comply with the following terms and conditions governing the purchase, export, and delivery of agricultural products.

2. Products

We specialize in the export of high-quality Indian agricultural products including:

  • Red Onion
  • Turmeric
  • Indian Potato
  • Jaggery

Product specifications, quality standards, packaging, and availability may vary according to seasonal conditions and market demand.

3. Pricing

  • All quotations are subject to market fluctuations.
  • Prices may be quoted on FOB, CIF, CFR, or EXW basis as mutually agreed.
  • Prices are valid only for the period specified in the quotation.
  • Any additional duties, taxes, customs charges, or import fees imposed by the buyer’s country shall be borne by the buyer.

4. Order Confirmation

  • Orders become valid only after written confirmation from Green Cane Global Exports.
  • Purchase Orders (PO) must clearly specify quantities, packaging requirements, destination port, and product specifications.
  • Green Cane Global Exports reserves the right to accept or reject any order.

5. Payment Terms

  • Advance payment or Letter of Credit (LC) may be required depending on the order value.
  • Accepted payment methods:
    • Bank Transfer (TT)
    • Letter of Credit (LC)
    • Other mutually agreed methods
  • Production and shipment processes will begin only after agreed payment conditions are met.

6. Quality Assurance

  • Products are inspected before shipment.
  • Quality certificates and phytosanitary certificates will be provided where applicable.
  • Natural agricultural products may have minor variations in color, size, weight, or appearance.
  • Such natural variations shall not be considered defects.

7. Packaging

  • Products are packed according to export standards.
  • Customized packaging requirements may be accommodated subject to prior agreement and additional costs.
  • Buyers must communicate packaging requirements before order confirmation.

8. Shipment & Delivery

  • Delivery schedules are estimates and may be affected by weather conditions, transportation delays, government regulations, or unforeseen events.
  • Green Cane Global Exports will not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control.
  • Risk transfers to the buyer according to the agreed Incoterms.

9. Inspection and Claims

  • Buyers must inspect goods upon arrival.
  • Any claim regarding quantity, quality, or damage must be submitted in writing within 7 days of receiving the shipment.
  • Claims must be supported by photographs, inspection reports, and relevant documentation.
  • Claims submitted after the specified period may not be accepted.

10. Import Compliance

  • Buyers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all import regulations, permits, licenses, and standards applicable in their country.
  • Green Cane Global Exports is not responsible for customs delays due to incomplete buyer documentation.

11. Force Majeure

Green Cane Global Exports shall not be liable for failure or delays caused by:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Droughts
  • Pandemics
  • Government restrictions
  • Labor disputes
  • Port congestion
  • Transportation disruptions
  • Other events beyond reasonable control

12. Cancellation Policy

  • Order cancellations must be submitted in writing.
  • Any expenses incurred prior to cancellation may be charged to the buyer.
  • Customized or specially packed orders may not be eligible for cancellation.

13. Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability shall be limited to the invoice value of the goods supplied.
  • We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use, shipment delays, or market fluctuations.

14. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of all commercial information, pricing, contracts, and business communications.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from transactions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Sangli, Maharashtra, India.
